Many people touch our lives.

There are often occasions when we wish to honor them like a birthday, anniversary, marriage, or the birth of a child. There are also other occasions when we want friends and loved ones to know that they are in our prayers. Whether a friend or family member is facing an illness or some other challenge, we look for ways to show our support. This is especially true when someone dies; loved ones need to be assured of our prayers.

One way for you to touch the lives of the people you love is to ask us, the Orthodox-Catholic Church of America, to pray for your friend or family member. If you send the name of the person, who will be receiving the card, Mother Maria will create a hand-made card and send it to you.

We will include him or her on our prayer lists. We will remember the named individual at Divine Liturgy and in private prayer for a month. Deceased individuals will also be remembered monthly in our Panikhida (or Prayers for the Dead) Whatever the occasion for prayer: birthday, anniversary, new job, new home, new baby, illness, recovery, death of a loved one, or any other situation; we will be glad to pray! All you have to do is to send us: the person's name, the reason for prayer or occasion for the card, and your name and address.
