Boldly Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ Jesus!
We are a community of Christians in the Apostolic Tradition of the Orthodox Catholic Church who feel called to live the Gospel of Christ Jesus in a radical way.
1. We hold the Nicene Creed as the primary Symbol of our Faith.
2. Our daily life centers on Prayer, Study and Work. Our Monastics anchor themselves with Prayer and Eucharist, study the Word of God daily and work in the greater community bringing the Gospel to all they meet.
3. Our primary vocation is that of Servant. We are called by the Gospel to serve; in every situation it is our goal.
Servanthood
We have many opportunities to serve through several "ministries" of the OCCA. The Lord says to us that the "harvest is ready but the laborers, few." Won't you come and labor in God's fields? Pray with us, Study with us, and Serve with us!
Worship Opportunities: The Work of the People of God!
COME! Now Is The Time To Worship!
The most important work of the People of God is Worship. We have a number of opportunities for gathering together for communal worship; but, these are not the only gathering times. We encourage small group scriptural study and Eucharistic celebrations throughout the week.
